there's more to life than this

I tried to take a picture of it but it wouldn't come out right.

Earlier today my nephew (who is "Five! Years! Old!") drew a face on my left hand, in the crook of my thumb and index finger (just like Pedro and Senor Wences). He had drawn a boy on his hand, and announced that he would draw a girl on my hand. She had lips not unlike Marietta (Diane Ladd) in Wild at Heart, emerald eyes and long purple hair. When I put my ring back on my thumb it looked as though she had a pierced bottom lip.

My hand is cooler than me.
